Dear friends,

What a joy and honor it is to know that God has declared us righteous not by our works but through our faith in Christ Jesus who bore all the punishment of our sin in His own body  on the cross..

Just as Abraham was counted righteous because of his faith, we too are justified and declared righteous through our faith in Christ and His redemptive work on the cross -Romans 4:13 .

2Corinthians 5:21 says,  “God made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in  Him we might become the righteousness of God. We reign in life as kings today because of His abundant grace and free gift of righteousness – Romans 5:17.

Every promise of God for us is  ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen’ in Christ Jesus – 2 Corinthians 1:20 .

We possess His promises by constantly declaring them over ourselves and our loved ones. The kind of  faith  we exercise is the God kind of faith that ‘speaks’. Just as we received salvation by believing in our heart and confessing with our mouth that Jesus Christ is our Lord and saviour, we must also respond to every promise of God the same way.  As 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “ I believed therefore I have spoken” since we have the same spirit of faith ,we also believe and therefore speak”.  Job 22:28 says,  “You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.”

So come  let us  declare and possess the precious promises God has made to us, His righteous children –
